This Privacy Policy explains what personal information the Topictionary website ("the Site") collects, how it is used, and your rights concerning your data. We aim to collect the minimum data required to run the Service.

We use Google Firebase Authentication to let you sign in with email, Google, or Discord. When you sign in, Firebase Authentication stores your email address, display name, provider user ID, and authentication timestamps.

Firebase is operated by Google LLC. Authentication data may be processed on servers located outside your country. See Google's privacy policy for details.

When you submit a topic request, post a community answer, or edit your profile, we store the content you submitted along with your Firebase UID, a display name, and timestamps in Google Cloud Firestore.

Submitted topics and answers are displayed publicly on the Site and in the Discord bot. Your display name is shown next to your contributions.

We record privacy-friendly click events (for example invite-button clicks, external link clicks) without using cookies or any cross-site identifiers. Counts are aggregated on the server and we do not build individual visitor profiles.

We do not use Google Analytics or third-party advertising trackers.

We use your data to (a) authenticate you, (b) display your submissions on the Site and Bot, (c) prevent abuse, and (d) improve the Service. We do not sell or share your personal data with advertisers.

Account and profile data are retained as long as your account exists. Topic requests and community answers may remain visible even after account deletion unless you request removal.

You can edit your profile at any time from the settings page. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us via the Discord server or the social accounts listed on the About page.

The Site embeds or links to third-party services including Discord, Google Firebase, Ko-fi, Buy Me a Coffee, SUZURI, and Booth. Each service has its own privacy policy governing data it collects from you.

Some topics on the Site may contain adult themes. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version takes effect when posted.

Questions about this Privacy Policy or data requests can be sent via the Discord server or the social accounts listed on the About page.
